  • Smme Development Specialist


    • Responsibilities:

       • Conduct need assessment of SMEs and Business Service Providers
       • Conduct gap analysis of the local procurement in the targeted mono-towns
       • Develop program training and technical assistance offerings
       • Develop training-of-trainers curricula
       • Recruit and manage trainers and consultants
       • Coordinate trainings and technical assistance throughout the life of program
       • Monitor and report on trainer and trainee performance and perform monitoring and evaluation of the managed program activities.
       • Work with small and medium enterprises in Karaganda to identify opportunities for growth
       • Provide referrals to business advisory services when appropriate
       • Help enterprises grow and diversify business services and product offerings
       • Support the Program Manager with the implementation of the SME development program as assigned.

      Key Skills and Qualifications:

       • Master’s degree in economics, finance, business administration and/or related fields
       • 5 year relevant work experience working in the field of SME-development
       • Deep technical knowledge in SME development as demonstrated by successful work experience
       • Sound analytical, organizational, project management and negotiation skills and the ability to conduct training and workshops/seminars.
       • Advanced computer skills, including word processing, spread sheet, power point, data management, and other packages
       • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Business Incubation Specialist


    • Duties and Responsibilities:

       • The Business Incubation Manager will be responsible for overseeing the incubation process for selected grantees. This includes establishing strong support facilities and advice for technologists
       • Entrepreneurs and enterprises to help grantees access technical assistance and mentorship


      Key Skills & Qualifications:

       • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role or SMME Development programmes.
       • Ability to effectively manage number of grants budgets effectively
       • Strong track record in supporting entrepreneurs in business incubation process
       • Experience in establishing and coordinating support services for entrepreneurs, including technical assistance and mentorship programmes
       • Track record of bringing technology and innovative business models to markets
       • Candidates must be fluent spoken and written English

  • Bid Office Specialist


    • Duties and Responsibilities:

       • Learn to manage all Bids, Solicitations, Un-Solicited Proposals and most large Quotations submitted by the Government Division.
       • Be responsible to understand Terms & Conditions, and any “special” requirements on bids and solicitations.
       • Work with Contract Specialist in reviewing quotes to make sure we are in compliance with regulations.
       • Responsibility for Work of Others
       • Instructing – Lead out in training the team in “best values” in our quoting.
       • Assigning Work – Determine who is going submit bids and proposals, and work with both
       • Reviewing Work – Responsible for reviewing/approving bids and proposals before submission.
       • Coordinating Activities – Bring all necessary areas together for cohesion on bids.

      Skills required:

       • Be able to determine when to bid or when to pass.
       • Work with team to learn about their government customers and private sector who provide bids.
       • Learn how to “talk with customers” and learn what leverage we can control in selection.
       • Work with team on product, pricing and with shipping.
       • Be able to read Terms and details of bids, especially delivery specifications.
       • Learn how to deal with contracting officers, how to gain required information and learn how to ask right questions. Learn what you can and can’t do, say and/or ask!
       • Maintain bid database, including “wins” and “losses”, plus leads from agencies.
       • Will also serve as a Lead Generator for team.
       • Assume that it will not always be just a normal 40 hours a week, regular hours.
